Sharing
is caring!

Freely share what was freely given — so others can rise faster, do more good, and help build a world that's safer, stronger, and more sustainable for all of us.

Who's behind this

I'm Jakub. I've been creating added value in technology since the late 90s and have spent 20 years bridging Technology and Security, with Fisherman Labs since 2012 and more than 100 projects across public and private sector. Since 2000 I've been a Red Cross First Aider. Most of what I know, somebody shared with me first. This is where I give it back.

Manifesto

Ten principles.
One lesson.

I've started creating added value in technology in the late 90s. Not long after, I was already volunteering, first with the Czech Red Cross Youth, later with Defence for Children International, UNITED for Intercultural Action and Red Cross societies in Czechia and Spain. Two worlds, one lesson: the best things I have, somebody once shared with me. Knowledge, opportunity, clarity and momentum.

This is my attempt to give it back.

  1. 01

Share freely what was freely given.

Not theory, not motivational noise. Real lessons learned through hard work, technical depth, failures, recoveries and continuous improvement. One person's experience should become another person's shortcut.

  2. 02

Turn the multiplication effect into accountable outcomes.

One shared lesson, passed on, helps more people, more teams and more communities. I measure sharing by what it changes, not by how loud it is.

  3. 03

    Lead by personal example.

I can only salute the true leaders who lead their teams by example. Show, don't tell. If something breaks, fix it. If something slows us down, automate it. If something introduces risk, redesign it.

  4. 04

Privacy over Security. And Security over obscurity.

Sharing ideas openly and protecting people are not opposites. Privacy of the individual is the root of trust and resilience. Knowledge should be open, personal data should not.

  5. 05

    Freedom comes with responsibility.

Personal freedoms go together with personal responsibility and accountability. Everybody deserves an equal chance; what we do with it is on us.

  6. 06

Communities should stand on their own feet.

Self-sufficient communities, food self-sufficiency, culture sustainability. From connecting agriculture and technology for local communities in Andalusia to the forests around Lázně Libverda: nobody becomes self-sufficient alone.

  7. 07

    Care is hands-on.

Since 2000 I've been a First Aider. I've given personal assistance to old, lonely and socially disadvantaged people, taught HIV/AIDS prevention in schools, and helped bring together young Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers from 19 countries to share knowledge and experience. Today I keep systems running for an observatory, support children's rights, protect personal data and help a nature film festival. Giving time is giving care. 💚

  8. 08

Technology should protect human agency, not consume it.

That's the idea behind agora3: a digital agora where authenticity scales, communities interact with integrity, and reputation is earned through contribution — transparently recorded and resistant to manipulation.

  9. 09

    Nature keeps us honest.

I'm a Passionate Nemophilist, haunting the forests around the globe. 🌿 Forests don't hoard. They exchange.

  10. 10

    Don't waste the time.

We all have the same limited amount of time, and it is wise not to waste it. So let's not waste it alone.

This site is my contribution: lessons from security, engineering, leadership, business and life, plus an open door for anyone who wants to build something good together.

If this resonates with You, don't just read it. Share it, challenge it, or come cooperate! 💪
